This allows it to be put downstream of the lead dependent biosensor (<a href="https://parts.igem.org/Part:BBa_K1758333">BBa_K1758333</a>). This part has been synthesised with a strong Ribosome Binding Site (<a href="https://parts.igem.org/Part:BBa_B0034">BBa_B0034</a>) upstream of the coding sequence. | ||

Lead Sequestration Protein with RBS
pbrD is a protein that sequesters lead. It is present downstream of a strong RBS (BBa_B0034) and binds to lead ions in the cytoplasm and decrease its concentration.
