Palf4: Constitutively active promoter for Bacillus subtilis
Palf4 is an artificial promoter that is constitutively expressed in Bacillus subtilis. It has the advantage to have only a small DNA sequence of 30 bp length. The promoter sequence can be fused with lacz and a riboswitch, to carry out experiments with the characteristic enzyme β-Galactosidase.
Artificial promoter, which is consttuitevely active in B. subtilis. Its advantage lays in the short sequence, which allows it to be introduced into genetic systems with ease. Sequence and Features
