This part is a gene circuit that can be used to test whether it is being expressed or not. It comprises of a ribosome binding site (RBS) for ribosomes to bind, a GST label for purification, a thrombin restriction enzyme cleavage site (for adding other segments) and a GFP detection unit. When transformed into bacteria, e.g. E. coli, it can be used to test whether the bacteria are expressing the part not.

This part contains a GST label, a thrombin and a TEV protease cleavage site, a gene SmCPS1 obtained from Salvia miltiorrhiza, and a GFP detector. The GST label can be used to purify the target protein (in this case, SmCPS1). The two cleavage sites can be used to slice the target protein. GFP can be used to determine whether the part is expressed or not.

GST-Thrombin Protease-TEV-GFP

This part contains a GST label, a thrombin and a TEV protease cleavage site, a gene SmCPS1 obtained from Salvia miltiorrhiza, and a GFP detector. The GST label can be used to purify the target protein (in this case, SmCPS1). The two cleavage sites can be used to slice the target protein. GFP can be used to determine whether the part is expressed or not.
