Usage and Biology

A scaffold RNA is a guide RNA (gRNA), supplemented with one or more additional hairpins that can recruit different RNA binding module. In this case, the hairpins are two times PP7, a well-characterized viral RNA sequence which is recognized by PCP RNA binding module.
