LUXoperon with mKeima
The pBAD::LUXoperon (<a href="https://parts.igem.org/Part:BBa_K325909">BBa_K325909</a>) has been well characterised and the bacteria containing this biobrick is able to produce blue light in vivo after induction by Arabinose.
We have generated a part that has RBS-mKeima at the 3' end of the LUXoperon in order to attempt to bring about a stroke shift in light output from blue>red.
