Applications of BBa_K1587000
ho1 is used to catalyse the formation of biliverdin (BV) IXα via heme. It is usaully used in association with pcyA enabeling the formation phycocyanobilin (PCB), a chromophore of the phytochrome family of photoreceptors, photosynthetic light-harvesting complexes required for circadian clock.
