Applications of BBa_K1692031
This blue chromogenic protein gene can immediately be transformed with the pSB1C3 backbone into E. coli to produce colored colonies or culture, because it already includes an RBS and promoter. This may be useful as a reporter of transformation efficiency. Alternatively, this part could be used in combination with other parts as a reporter.
