Below are images and measurements of promoters strengths for four variants of the pClone -35 Consensus cloned into it. E. coli strain JM109 was transformed with constructs that included the Psimp1 promoter variants cloned into pClone Red (BBa_J119137).  The images were taken of the resulting colonies on a UV box. The numbers below each image are the relative strengths of the Psimp1 variants measured with RFP fluorometry.
