USP45 USP45 is en export tag that works in Lactobacillus as well as E.coli.

The killing system
We designed the killing system to secret the colicin Fy with the help of an export tag, USP45. This part contains the RBS B0034 and the export tag USP45. In team Uppsala iGEM 2014 project this part was to be coupled to the colicin Fy BBa_K1381017. The biobrick suffix is RFC25 and contains an AgeI restriction site for easier fusion with other protein sequences (The colicin Fy BBa_K1381017 part was designed with an RFC25 prefix with NgoMIV site).
