The dihydroflavonol 4-reductase (DFR; EC 1.1.1.219) from the plant Dianthus caryophyllus is an enzyme, catalyzing the reversible conversion of dihydroflavonols e.g. dihydro-kaempferol or dihydroquercetin into their corresponding leucoanthocyanidin.
