pUC57 backbone - digested between BamHI and XbaI. (reverse-complement sequence)

this part is the backbone of the widely used high copy number plasmid pUC57. this plasmid is used to overexpress recombinant proteins as well as amplify a gene of interest inside E.coli. the plasmid backbone contains ampicillin resistance gene (b-lactamase) for selection of transformants.
