A Protein Generator is defined as a composite-type functional part based on the combination of a Protein Coding region and some other part.

The entire composite part should be able to produce proteins in response to some stimuli.

Ribosome Binding Site

Many of the protein generators are connected to Ribosome Binding Sites. This allows for the Protein Generator parts to take in PoPS input and output proteins.
