Pichia pastoris optimized His-CrtB-PTS1

This sequence codes for CrtB (Phytoene synthase), codon optimized for expression in Pichia pastoris and engineered to include a 6xHis-tag in its N-terminus and the peroxisomal targeting signal type 1 (PTS1) in its C-terminus. It also includes a yeast Kozak consensus sequence and the AOX1 transcription terminator sequence for its use in expression.
