Simulation of RFP accumulation over the time under anaerobic conditions. The 2012 iGem UCL team generated further models for BBa_K301007 using TinkerCell software (Chandran et al., 2009). The chart shows a response of RFP under anaerobic conditions and also the accumulation of T7 RNA polymerase (Part: BBa_K301005) under the control of mNark promoter (Part: BBa_K239006) and T7 promoter (Part: BBa_K301003) (in the chart: T7_RNAP1 and T7_RNAP2 respectively). Simulation demonstrated an increase of RFP expression when it was placed under the control of T7 promoter.
