Pxyl, a xylose inducible promoter + its regulator XylR
Pxyl is a promoter which is repressed by XylR. In presence of Xylose, XylR leaves the operator sequence and the Pxyl is active. XylR is present in most B. subtilis strains, so this would be a second copy of the gene which keeps the promoter tight.
XylR is provided with constitutive promoter, RBS and terminator.
