Design Notes
ori1600 was initially thought to be a replication stabilizing element for Pseudomonas spp. Later, it was confirmed that it is a replication origin for plasmids replicating in Pseudomonas spp. Together with our part BBa_K640002 (oriT for interspecies transfer), a plasmid containing these parts can be transferred to Pseudomonas spp. and is able to replicate.
