cre recombinase assay device
This part is composed of "T7 promoter-lox71-Tet resistance(reverse)-rbs(reverse)-lox66-double terminator."
lox71 and lox66 are arranged so that the intermediate Tet resistance(reverse)-rbs(reverse) is inverted when Cre is expressed. So, this unit can be used as a detector of Cre, because cells with this construct will survive in the medium with tetracycline only when the cells express Cre.
