Applications of BBa_K415138
We used this part to rescue a wild-type phenotype from infected bacteria lacking a functional p3. These bacteria were transformed with hyperphage and produced a polyphage, "hairy" phenotype. Addition of K415138 provided wild-type p3 and rescued this phenotype. The bacteria no longer had "hairs" and looked normal.
