contributed by Fudan iGEM 2024

Introduction

The csoS3 is a subunit of the original csoS operon.

Usage and Biology

The csoS3 encodes the β-carbonic anhydrase enzyme, which is not necessary in our design, therefore removed from the csoS operon BBa_K5115034, while other subunits will still be used to generate a synthetic α-carboxysome shell in E. coli.
