Design Notes

This part was designed with the same structure of the Berkley constitutive promoters. Indeed, the operator sequence was digested with SpeI and PstI and the same was done for the RFP. The two parts were then ligated. This was done to allow an easier cloning of the operator sequence that is short in length (about 20 bp).
