This plasmid backbone is based on pMA-RQ from Geneart. It has BioBrick prefix and suffix flanked on both sides by 70 bp of homology to pTetFlp (BBa_K260002) for tranfer of the contained BioBrick part by recombineering, for which the BioBrick needs to be excised with PvuII from the backbone.

This plasmid backbone is available with BioBrick P_F3_zeoR_F3_RFP (BBa_K260017) depicted below. The product of the above-described recombineering reaction BBa_K260002-BBa_K260017 is also available.
