pWV01 broad host range plasmid origin and rep protein
pWV01 broad host range plasmid origin and rep protein. pWV01 replicates by rolling circle replication in a very broad range of bactera, including both gram positive and gram negative species. This part is the a stripped down plasmid origin for constructing a Biobrick plasmid.
For use with mycoplasma species, the repA (orfD) seqeunce terminates in a TGA stop codon, which will be interpreted as tryptophan. This may need to be modified for use in the mycoplasma and mesoplasma species.
