Design Notes
Fusion of the HlyA-tag to a protein allows its secretion with the one-step hemolysin A secretion machinery. The composite part BBa_K4387987 contains all the necessary BioBricks for the constitutive expression of the secretion system. Shortening this sequence to the essential last 60 amino acids has not been tested yet for its functionality.
