RpoA

This RpoA gene from Agrobacterium tumefaciens encodes the alfa subunit of the RNA Polymerase. This is necessary in E. coli so that the Vir box can be transcribed properly, allowing a functional VirA/VirG signaling system.

RpoA has illegal EcoRI restriction sites in its original sequence. We used site directed mutagenesis to get these sites out. EcoRI was mutated from GAATTC to GAATTT
