Plux_HS-LuxI-EGFP
In the AHL mediated quorum sensing system,after reaching the threshold, AHL can combine with endogenous LuxR to form a complex and activate the corresponding promoter PluxR. In this project, we selected the improved promoter Plux_HS of iGEM2018 Tsinghua.The promoter has the advantage of low leakage.After Plux_ HS is activated, the expressed AHL will combine with endogenous LuxR to form a complex and furtherly activate Plux_ HS promoter, so as to achieve the effect of cascade amplification, and finally express a large number of EGFP, making the detection effect significant.
We first verify the circuits by artificially adding AHL.
