Antitermination protein N coupled with N terminal split GFP

This is a fusion protein containing Antitermination protein N (BBa_K3657014) and N-terminal Split-GFP (BBa_K3657027).

Usage and Biology

Antitermination protein N binds specifically the BoxB RNA (BBa_K3657015).

N-terminal Split-GFP is a protein that combines to a fluorescent complex when in proximity of C-terminal Split-GFP (BBa_K3657028).

This construct was planned to be used to explore the ability to use RNA as a linker between proteins. Following linker should be used: BBa_K3657036. The part with the C-terminal of the Split-GFP planned for the experiment: BBa_K3657031. You can find out more about the planned experiment here: iGEM Heidelberg 2020.

Due to the COVID19 pandemics we did not obtain empirical data about this part.
