RNA Linker binding Pumby AUAGAU and Pumby AUGGUU
This part is an RNA containing binding sites for Pumby protein binding AUAGAU (BBa_K3657004) and Pumby protein binding AUGGUU (BBa_K3657005).

Usage and Biology

Pumby proteins are modular proteins. Each subunit binds a specific ribonucleotide. Therefore the protein can be designed to bind a specific RNA sequence.

It was planned to test the ability of this linker to bring proteins together by using Pumby proteins fused to respective Split-GFP subunits. The following parts were planned to be used: BBa_K3657034, BBa_K3657035.

Due to the COVID19 pandemics no experimental data about this part was obtained. More information about the planned experiment can be found here: iGEM Heidelberg 2020
