SoxS Trancription Activator
This part encodes the SoxS protein, which is known as an effective transcription activator in E. coli.
Usage and Biology
SoxS plays an important role in the regulation of the superoxide response. (Wu and Weiss, 1992) Chen Dong et al. compared several known transcription activators in E. coli and found SoxS to be the most effective.
