FutA2 (iron-binding)
FutA2 is a periplasmic binding protein in Synechocystis sp. PCC6803, facilitating Fe2+ and Fe3+ iron import (Katoh, 2001; UnitProt, 2020). FutA2 is one of four proteins that comprise the Fut iron transport system, alongside FutA1, FutB and FutC (Badarau, 2008).
