Toluene dioxygenase(TodC1C2)

In our design, TodC1C2 is utilized to oxidize hexadecylbenzene to the intermediate cis-hexadecylbenzene dihydrodiol. As a protein with quaternary structure, TodC1C2 contains two polypeptides, todC1 and TodC2, with the size of 53 and 25 kDa. We demonstrated this part via SDS-PAGE electrophoresis, as shown in the figure below.
