3x HA-Tag for protein detection, isolation, purification B5-B5
This part is a part of the Chlamy-HUB-Collection. A popular in vitro purification und detection tag is the Human influenza hemagglutinin (HA) tag (Wilson et al., 1984). It’s a glycoprotein which is required for infectivity of the virus. The tag itself is a small segment of the virus commonly used as an epitope tag in gene expression vectors. Three copies of this tag attached to the desired protein will increase the affinity towards the specific HA-antibodies therefore eliminating the production of protein specific antibodies. The amino acid sequence is YPYDVPDYA. The amino acid sequence was also translated to base triplets in a codon optimized way for C. reinhardtii.
This part was designed to be used with the MoClo standard and has B5-B5 overhangs.
