Reverse Complement
This part regulates our system when it is present in a non antibiotic medium where Cro is not expressed.
Usage and Biology
The part is designed in such a way that it is complementary to the RBS (BBa_K3503001). This way, when no ampicillin resistance gene is present (bla) it forms a double stem loop with the RBS and inhibits the expression of the Cro gene which induces the lysogenic cycle of the phage.
