This part encode a uricase (from Cyberlindnera jadinii) under the control of the constitutive promoter J23100 and strong RBS B0034. The uricase encoded can covert uric acid into hydroxyisourate. In our project, we express it in E. coli. It is hoped that the uricase-expressing E.coli can lower the uric acid concentration in human alimentary canal, so as to prevent gout disease.
