This is the gene pabB + b0034 RBS placed in front of the b0015 terminator. Eventually this part will be ligated with pabA + the j23100 promoter to create a plasmid containing the two necessary genes of the para-aminobenzoic acid synthesis pathway.
This plasmid can then be overexpressed to test the effects of increasing pABA production on total folate concentrations.

pabB was extracted from the genome of L.lactis subspe. IL1403.
