P_lux

P_lux is a promoter inducible by binding acyl homoserine lactone (quorum sensing molecule) to a LuxR regulator protein. This promoter is known for its function in the quorum sensing system, found in Aliivibrio fischeri. Together with LuxI and LuxR (BBa_K2587003. https://parts.igem.org/Part:BBa_K2587003). It is able to induce expression of a desired gene.
