RBS-ldhDARSdR-RBS-lldP
ldhDARSdR can produce lactate, and lldP can release it from cytoplasm to the environment.
Characterization
This is a two section for lactate produce and transfer part.
DNA Gel Electrophoretic
At first, we only have two simple genes as ldhDARSdR and lldP. And then we link them through overlap extension PCR. As the figure shows, we get the genetic stripe about 3000bp which means the overlap extension PCR is successful.
Metabolic figure
As the figure shows, with the help of light and PSI,Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803(cyanobacteria) with ldhDARSdR-lldP absorb CO2 into Calvin cycle and produce pyruvate. And then ldhDARSdR can transfer pyruvate into lactate which will be transport to the environment by lldP.
