Strong T7 Promoter (R0085) Followed by Strong C-Dog (J119028)
This is a combination of the Strong T7 Promoter BBa_R0085 and the Strong C-Dog Ribosome Binding Site BBa_J119028. We designed this part in order to test our mechanism for in vitro artificial selection using the SmaI enzyme. We changed the first G to a C in the C-Dog to remove the ApaI site there. We also removed the final ATG from the end of the C-dog because we already had one at the start of the SmaI gene we are using.
