PYK10-1457:a seedling and root specific promoter

This part contains a root-specific promoter from Arabidopsis thaliana root and Hypocotyls. Compared to the full-length promoter, PYK10-1457 lacks the 785 bp base at the 5 'end , but its strength is increased by several times.

Characterization

To confirm whether the PPYK10-1457 promoter was strictly root-specific, we tested the roots and leaves of positive plants with RT-PCR. The results showed that the target gene CKX3 mainly express in the roots, only small amount of expression in leaves, indicating that PYK10-1457 is an excellent root-specific promoter.
