To find the optimal conditions of EutM microcompartment formation we used a tool called 'Design of Experiments' to vary a multitude of factors including:

When we characterized this part by redoing the OD measurement we found that the OD does not decrease drastically after 20 hours. Instead we observed a decline in growth during the log-phase that leveled out at an OD of around 1.5 which was still stable after 20 hours.
