Introduction
Modified Gα Caenorhabditis elegans
Gα plays an important role in MAPK pathway. And in the yeast endogenous metabolic pathway, the conformation of Ste2 changes and combines with the Gα, forcing Gα dissociates with Gβ/Gγ dimer. In order to make the sweetness receptor fit the Gα better, we modified the Gα. Then the sweetness receptor can combine with the Gα and send the signal to the downstream.

Design
Mutated C-terminus 15bp sequence of the yeast Gα, replace it with the Caenorhabditis elegans Gα. After construct the modified Gα by PCR, and the initial sequence is amplified from Saccharomyces Cerevisiae CEN.PK2-1C..

Experiment
The part is used to improve the matching condition of sweetness receptor and the modified Gα. The length of sequence is 1418bp.
