PdtxR/DtxR based Fe2+ biosensor
Biosensor constructed by the ligation of parts BBa_K2486021 and BBa_K2486004.
Usage and Biology
We designed this part in order to validate our newly designed promoter PdtxR (BBa_K2486023). The biosensor was able to respond to different concentrations of iron, which suggests it could be used to detect and differentiate Fe2+ content of the blood.
