During our project we were unable to generate a construct containing the XVE promotor so we unable to test the strength of this construct <i>in vivo</i>. <br>However the LexA promotor has been successfully used in many previous experiments so is a useful tool for future iGEM teams who wish to test the inducible expression of their gene of interest by comparing to the LUC+ output of this construct.<br>
