This part is an improvement on the Part BBa_K117008. It functions to sense AI-2 still, but YFP is replaced with Super Folder Green Fluorescent Protein (sfGFP), a protein that glows much quicker (around 4 hours to become visible) and is more useful for a diagnostic approach. This plasmid was created from ligation using New England Biolabs products and protocols.
