Design Notes
The terminator sequence is based off of the double terminater BBa_B0015. To ensure ability to synthesis in a gblock from IDT,nine base pairs were removed from the 3' end of the sequence. The effect in termination efficiency has not been analyzed. Further insight into the effect of the nine base pair would be beneficial to the Registry.
Source
The base sequence is taken from the BBa_B0015 part available on the IGEM registry submitted by Reshma Shetty. The double terminator contains both the BBa_B0010 and BBa_B0012. This template double terminator is highly characterized and commonly used. As mentioned, adjustments were made due to limitations in gBlock synthesis from IDT.
