pTet GFP

This part is composed of pTet promoter, a high efficiency RBS, coding region of GFP and double terminator. Sinve pTet promoter is constitutively on and can be repressed by TetR, this part is used to test whether pTet is sensitive to TetR.


Usage and Biology

This part was used in our project to form a simulation system with BBa_K2150022 to test our designs. This part produced a higher level of GFP than BBa_K2150022(see here), when the concentration of aTc was 1ug/mL.

Characterization

In the presence of tetR, this part can be induced by the addition of aTc(Fig.1).
