This is the translational unit of the 6-phospho-3-hexuloisomerase (Phi) from Bacillus methanolicus MGA3. It is codon optimized for E. coli.
Catalysed reaction by Phi D-arabino-hex-3-ulose 6-phosphate → D-fructose 6-phosphate. |
Usage and Biology
Mdh, Hps and Phi expressed in a pSB1A30 backbone on SDS-PAGE after IPTG induction with a RFP expression strain as a negative control. All genes expressed in BL21 Gold (DE3), samples taken from 50 ml main culture in shake flasks after 6 h and 21 h after IPTG induction.
