Mf-ssrA Tag1+linker
We added a short linker after tag1(BBa_K1696013) to increase the original expression level of degraded protein.
Mf-ssrA tag1 is the parental tags of all other variants that are able to be degraded by mf-Lon. In our experiment, we test the proteolysis characteristic of this tag by adding an degraded protein. However, the expression level of the protein is limited due to structural interference between mf-ssrA tag1 and degraded protein. Inspired by that, we further introduce a short linker after tag1, which can disturb the interference and make sure the protein can express in the right way.
