L-lactate producing part2
The NAD+-dependent L-lactate dehydrogenase gene from Geobacillus stearothermophilus is a promising enzyme for L-lactate mass production. In order to achieve even more lactate generation to feed exoelectrogen in our system, we choose a strong promoter and strong RBS to construct L-Lactate part. Considering that the strong promoter and RBS can ensure the over-expression of L-lactate, we believe that this kind of construction will lead to an increasing power generation and potential application in the future.
