Modified rhlAB coding sequence from Pseudomonas aeruginosa SQ6

This is a composite part made of BBa_K1331001 and BBa_K1331004.

Usage and Biology

This part encodes both the subunit A and B, and together make the functional rhamnosyltransferase I, the essential enzyme for rhamnolipid synthesis. This sequence includes both the coding sequence of rhlA, rhlB and the whole noncoding sequence between rhlA and rhlB. Preserving this noncoding sequence here is to ensure the accurate expression of rhamnosyltransferase I. Besides, a part of downstream noncoding sequence of rhlB is also included for composition with rhlRI, see our part BBa_K1331005.
