RubisCO of Halothiobacillus neapolitanus and phosphoribulokinase A (prkA) under control of ptac
The RuBisCO of Halothiobacillus neapolitanus is an enzyme which can catalyze the reaction of ribulose 1,5-bisphosphate to 3-phosphoglycerate. In this step CO2 is bound. The phosphoribulokinase A (PrkA) catalyzes the reaction before, where ribulose 5-phosphate is converted to ribulose 1,5-bisphosphate. The two enzymes are characterized here BBa_K1465213 (RuBisCO) and here BBa_K1465201 (prkA).
